Celebrating Success: The Inaugural Lincolnshire Marketing Conference and Awards

The picturesque county of Lincolnshire, known for its rolling countryside and historic charm, recently played host to a dynamic and engaging event that left marketers across the region buzzing with inspiration. The first-ever Lincolnshire Marketing Conference and Awards, held at the Doubletree by Hilton on the Brayford proved to be a resounding success. Let us take you through the day of marketing mastery and celebration.

A Day of Insightful Talks

The conference kicked off with an exciting line-up of speakers who delved into the intricacies of modern marketing. First up was MJ, a luminary in the world of SEO, who unravelled the secrets of search engine optimisation, providing attendees with valuable strategies to enhance their online presence.

Mike Roberts from Making Digital Real took the stage to share his expertise on leveraging LinkedIn for business growth, while Dan Temple, the charismatic compere from Cobalt Human Solutions, explored the concept of 'human solutions' and its vital role in contemporary marketing.

The highlight of the conference was undoubtedly the panel discussion featuring industry stalwarts Dean Bruce, Emma from Shooting Star, Pete Watson from Distract, and Richard Hallsworth from Nicholsons Accountants. They provided a well-rounded perspective on modern-day marketing and graciously fielded questions from an eager audience.

Neil Denny then took to the stage to share his wisdom on the artistry of marketing, emphasising the importance of owning one's craft. Let us say, it’s not common for a speaker to strip on stage and Neil certainly had our attention.

James Conduit, a partner with Sills and Betteridge Solicitors, followed suit (but kept his suit on), offering practical guidance on building a business for sale, drawing from his extensive experience.

The conference concluded on a high note with the legendary Matt Davies, a branding expert who ignited our creative sparks by introducing the 'big brand idea.' His mini workshop left attendees with a wealth of ideas and insights, providing ample food for thought. Compere Dan Temple brought the conference to a close, leaving everyone with a sense of anticipation for the evening's festivities.
